A Pennine Odyssey – Walks and Ways is now available at Ron Scholes books

The book follows a wandering journey through the Pennines from the Staffordshire Moorlands and Derbyshire Dales to Hadrian’s Wall. Alfred Wainwright expressed the opinion that the designated route was a Pennine and Cheviot Way. The Odyssey walks visit some lesser known corners of the Pennine landscape, and the journey includes a traverse of the highest parts in the north from Cross Fell to Hartside Cross and Cold Fell to finish at Housesteads on the Roman Wall.
